Application

PROXAR-IIN AC are high voltage surge arresters in silicone housing, operating in the 6.0 kV to 144 kV range. They protect AC power networks against repeated lightning strikes and switching surges. They are also designed to meet special application requirements.

PROXAR-IIN AC arresters are suitable for indoor and outdoor use in temperate and tropical climates at altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level. They can be mounted horizontally, vertically, suspended, or inverted. Accessories include the ProCounter operation counter and an insulating base for seamless replacement of worn-out lightning or surge arresters.
