Application

PROXAR-IN AC medium voltage surge arresters with silicone housing are distribution-class devices designed for operation in the 1.2 kV to 48 kV range. They protect AC power networks (overhead lines, substations, and transformers) against repeated lightning strikes and switching surges.

PROXAR-IN AC arresters are suitable for indoor and outdoor use in temperate and tropical climates at altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level. They can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or inverted. A wide range of accessories is available for PROXAR-IN AC surge arresters.
